This beer came from my mother in law as she bought a 6-pack somewhere for some event and it ended up in her basement. I grabbed one not realizing it was an AB product and threw it in the beer fridge. I decided to drink all of my blueberry beers (3 in total) and review them all.
Some glass from the top of this bottle came off when I opened it and fell into the beer. This should have been the first clue it was going to go down the drain. The appearance was not terrible with a deep purple color and thin head with a nice purple tint. Aroma is super sweet with a hint of fake blueberry. Taste was terrible, like a cheap wine, super sweet and syrupy like a grape soda. Overall AB increased the alcohol content and hoped no one would realize just how bad this beer was.
Also they seem to have ripped off the label from Flying Dog in Maryland as some would think this was produced by them based on their Raging Bitch style labels.
