I really liked the first offering from Great Rhythm Brewing, Resonation Pale Ale. When I came across their new offerings at Top Shelf Brews in Hampton I figured I would give them a shot. As far as I know they are still contract brewing their beer in Mass and distributing it throughout New Hampshire.
Hopstock is Great Rhythm’s IPA and I expected it to be similar to Resonation with an added hop kick. Appearance is a nice orange color with a solid white head. Aroma has some pine and citrus but overall is pretty tame compared to many of the IPAs I enjoy. Taste starts with a very sweet malt base and then the piney hops come in. Fairly sharp bitterness in the finish.
Overall this is a decent IPA, drinkable but also forgettable as there is nothing there that really stands out in a very crowded market of IPAs.

Brewers Description: Hopstock IPA is truly a hop exposition, a festival of hops. Bursting with a harmonious blend of citrusy, floral, and fruity flavors and hop aromas, this India Pale Ale is perfectly imbalanced yet sessionable.
