This beer pours a deep orange color with a two finger white head. Aroma is mild with some malt coming through and a bit of floral hop. Taste starts sweet and finished with a light citrus hop flavor that lingers.
This is described as a hoppy pale ale and while it certainly had some hops in there it is hard to compare it to Edward from Hill Farmstead or Mo from Maine Beer Company. That said this was the first batch of Hills and Hollows on the new system for Joe so I think he will continue to dial it in a bit. An excellent beer that I expect will get better in the coming months.
