622. Tree House Brewing Tornado

Tree House TornadoThis is the third and final beer I purchased on my visit to Tree House Brewing. Tornado is a pale ale named for the tornado that ripped through the Brimfield/Monson area in June 2011.

This is Tree House’s hoppy pale ale; think Mo from Maine Beer Company or Edward from Hill Farmstead. Tornado pours a very clear pale orange with a nice off white head. Aroma is plentiful with lots of citrus and a touch of pine.

Flavor is excellent with an excellent hop profile and finish is only slightly bitter and really leaves you wanting more. I enjoyed all three beers from Tree House Brewing and would recommend you make the trip to check them out.

Brewers Website: Tree House Brewing
Brewers Description: An extremely liberally hopped APA.  Tornado was crafted during the unfortunate events surrounding the June 1st, 2011 Brimfield Tornado.  We created the beer in honor of the circumstances as we experienced them and luckily escaped the path by 1/2 mile.  Tornado is loaded with notes of pine, tropical fruit, and citrus.  At 5.6% alcohol, it’s super refreshing.
