In’finiti is brewing a lot of beer and thankfully they started selling 32 ounce growlers so you can bring some of their excellent beer home with you. The choice of what to bring home can be difficult as they have around 8 of their own beers on tap at any given time. On my last visit I picked up a growler of their Double IPA as they wouldn’t fill growlers of their 15% ABV #1 Dad Imperial IPA.
I drink a lot of double IPAs many of them coming from Hill Farmstead and Stone so the bar is set pretty high. In’finiti’s DIPA pours a fairly typical deep orange with a nice white head. Aroma does not have the tropical/citrus that I enjoy so much, more of an earthy almost wine character. Taste is a nice mix of pine and sweet malts with a nice oily finish.
Overall this is a very well balanced DIPA from In’finiti, nothing spectacular but certainly worth trying if you enjoy the style as much as I do.
