This summer I have been trying to drink any hefeweizen I can as it is a style that I truly enjoy. Rising Tide’s Spinnaker is a stand out so far but this one from Marshall Wharf is also a great option for hot summer days.
Appearance is slightly darker than other hefeweizens I have tried but still has the nice cloudy look and a very thin white head. This might have had more head if I poured it into a hefeweizen style glass instead of my Marshall Wharf pint glass. Aroma has the banana, clove and yeast you would expect.
Taste is a very smooth spicy, yeast and fruit. This is a beer than most beer drinkers would enjoy and would go well with a meal or all on its own.
