This is the first of several New Hampshire beer reviews including 3 from Blue Lobster. Not sure why I waited so long to post these as they are making some excellent beer down there in Hampton. If you have not been you should definitely make the trip and I believe they are going to have regular Saturday hours, check their Facebook page below for more details.
Stalkholm Syndrome is their wheat IPA and is VERY well done. Color is a beautiful golden color with a thick white head that sticks to the glass well. Aroma has lots of citrus, overall this beer is off to a great start. Taste has a nice mixture of citrus, grapefruit with a very dry and only slightly bitter finish. As soon as you are done the first sip you want more and more.
This beer is incredibly flavorful for the fairly low 5.7% ABV. Blue Lobster beer is only available at the brewery in 750 ml and 2L growler fills and at a few select restaurants. You really need to make the trip to Hampton, NH to chat with David, Michael and try their excellent beer.
