This was the only other Lawson’s beer I was able to find during my trip to Vermont. Only ended up with a couple bottles of this as this is a Blonde ale and not my favorite style. Also by the time I found bottles of Lawson’s I had already spent nearly $500 on beer in Vermont so a couple bottles of this was enough.
This is a nice blonde with a pale golden color and thin white head. Aromas are subdued but pleasant with some hop and light malt character. Taste is similar with some hops up front and some bready malts. Also a bit of an earthy taste. Overall this has a lot going on for a blonde ale but everything about it is mild; aroma, taste, etc. Certainly one of the better blonde ales I have had but still not something I would seek out again.
